This year has been different for all of us. However, our customers’ peace of mind is so important to Dr. Parr and the team at Surf City Dental as we continue to serve you during COVID-19. Our appointment process has changed a bit to ensure safe practices, but one thing that remains is our dedication to our patients and to the extraordinary care we provide.
Dedicated to Your Health and Safety
Surf City Dental values the health of our customers above all else. We have gone the extra mile in our commitment to your safety. Our entire staff is PPE trained and has been for years. We all wear N95 masks for the entirety of your visit and have also updated our payment options to offer contactless payment.
All of our rooms now contain a cold plasma generator that removes unwanted bacteria, mold, and fungus from the air. HEPA filters have also been installed in each room to trap dust, mold, and pollen in the air. This was an important step for both our team and our patients, to avoid these potentially harmful chemicals in the air during our patients’ visits.
Upcoming Visit? What to Expect
Once you enter the parking lot, we ask that you remain in your car and give us a call to notify us of your arrival for your appointment. Our office remains locked to avoid large groups congregating inside. This also gives us a chance to prep your room properly in between patients.
We will review your current health, confirm you haven’t been exposed to COVID-19, and aren’t experiencing flu-like symptoms. Please wear a mask upon entering the building and whenever you are not being seen by the dentist. After the brief health check, you will be escorted to your appointment room. After your appointment, you will leave through a special door designated for exiting patients only.
Other than these safety precautions, your visit will be like any other trip you’ve had to Surf City Dental. We will continue to provide the best dental care to our patients while maintaining exceptional health standards.
Please contact our team at Surf City Dental for any questions you may have about the updated procedures and your next trip to the office. We look forward to serving you all very soon.
